Right, but Motorola has hardware patents for fighting Apple as well.
Google didn't have many patents before this aquisition, and they
especially aren't a hardware company.

The thing about patents is that you need to let them age a few years
until everyone depends on the patent you own, then you can sue
people for the big bucks.  :)  Motorola has been around for a long
time.
