Hi Everyone, Tomorrow is the official launch of the Luganda Firefox Translation. An amazing team of Ugandan Engineers has worked very hard to make Luganda one of the official Firefox distributions, and tomorrow is their day!
Location: Serena Time: 14:00 You are all most welcome to attend & celebrate this big achievement. To celebrate this, the Mozilla Foundation has sent over 4 engineers from Mozilla Kenya. http://mozilla-kenya.org/ I think it would be an excellent opportunity to organise a LUG event on Friday where we can get into more technical detail how San and his team worked on the translation, how more people can get involved, and to check out what is cooking in the Kenyan tech community. So, we do have speakers, the only think we now need is a location and an organiser that is responsible. That can not be me, we have another event going on. Who would like to volunteer to organise a location, and host the event there? (and no worries, we will be available to help you out.)
