Another example from the apple web site. A mac book with this spec:

15-inch: 2.0 GHz

    2.0GHz quad-core
    Intel Core i7
    4GB 1333MHz
    500GB 5400-rpm1
    Intel HD Graphics 3000
    AMD Radeon HD 6490M with 256MB GDDR5
    Built-in battery (7 hours)2

costs GBP1549.

An identically spec'd machine from the Dell web site is GBP799. In
fact the Dell has a 50% bigger hard drive, but essentially they are
identical machines in slightly different boxes. You pay an additional
GBP750 to have the apple logo on the front of the box. It is amazing
how many people are prepared to pay that and IMNSHO that is down to
one man, and Apple inc. no longer have him.
