Appreciating someones work and the contribution they have brought, Open source or not, should not be considered against Free Software. A large chunk of the fonts we use is thanks to Steve Jobs. UI are getting better and better, thanks to Apple, handheld devices are getting prettier and carry out-of-this-world technology thanks, to many including Apple. I am not an Apple or i<Anything> fun, but I do appreciate the contribution Steve has made and will laud him for that. However, agreeable with you is the S2N ratio lately on the LUG mailing list. I think we have no clear guidelines that give direction of what is discussed on this mailing list and hence, everything goes. Anything that anyone feels should be discussed gets posted. Perhaps we should describe an expected code of conduct and expected discussion items to curtail the happy-go-lucky path that this LUG list has taken. I was puzzled when a WIndows question was posted to the LUG.
