Hi John, Pse update us if Hari advice did work? I think my problem is somewhat similar and related as too recently upgraded my KDE desktop (ontop of a Gnome install) and now dont even get a login screen and AlT-CTRL-F1 doesnt work. But can login via the ssh. . .LOL!
