Hi,

I just saw this page tweeted about Gael testing a proprietary, foreign hosted
videoconference solution.
http://www.akvo.org/rsr/project/216/update/975/

As Gael points out, the license costs for this solution are 10.000USD.

Is it just me who is wondering wether that is enough money to come up with a
competitive, Ugandan hosted bigbluebutton installation, including some nice
local bandwidth, a server (or two), some nice hosting (at roke telkom for
example)?

Its 10.000USD just flowing out of the country. Seems like such a waste.
