Hello Developers,

Grameen Foundation AppLab <http://www.applab.org/> invites you to for a
software development workshop to be held at Makerere University School of
Computing and Informatics Technology(former FCIT).

The JAMS 2012 workshop will take place from *March 19th to 30th, 2012 *and
will be facilitated by trainers from
Thoughtworks<http://www.thoughtworks.com/>(a
leading software development consultancy firm). It will be an intensive
hands on workshop running from *9am to 5pm everyday* and covering topics
ranging from agile development practices to app architecture and
refactoring to patterns.

At the end of the workshop a number of participants will get:

   - 3 months internships at Grameen Foundation Applab
   - Mentorship from leading industry experts
   - An evening with the Thoughtworks team

Participants will be required to bring their own laptops with the following
installed:

   - JDK 1.6 or higher
   - JUnit 4
   - Latest version of Eclipse

Participants will also be required to cater for their own meals and
refreshments throughout the program.
