OPTA - As some of you are aware a small group of us last year got together with the idea of forming a professional association with open source/data/hardware/beer goals and ideals. It how ever died due to a lack of interest on the part of the formation committee, as such would there be people on the list willing to take this idea forward? Gaming:- Anyone tried downloading the Doom3 SDK and getting it to run on Linux? Party planning:- A new version of Ubuntu 12.04 LTS is due on April 26th. Should we plan a party like we did two years ago! Managed to get on TV and everything! Another party planning:- In October we celebrate 10Years. Sounds like a jolly good excuse to throw a party to me. So who's bringing the maraca's? Software Freedom Day 2012:- This will be coming up soon. What should we do? IDELO 7:- Brian just talking crazy!
