Friends,

I need yo help.

SME Server aint updating, claiming that
" not using ftp, https, or file for repos, skipping - 4 is not a valid
release or hasn't been released yet.
Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo; base "

Its hinted that Security updates for SME Server are available till 2012,
for CentOS 4 - See: wiki.contribs.org/SME_Server:About under Automatic
Updates. Just the month is not stated, and for now, no workaround seems to
work.

I have checked around, and various blogs suggest to edit
/etc/yum.repos.d/sme-base.repo to possibly change versions from 4 to 5 or
even 5.1. BUT there is no place in that file to do that.

There is another file - /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Base.repo and the advise
found here: http://www.terminalcraft.com/wordpress/?p=37 doesn't seem to be
working, whether i change to 5 or 5.1.

As of now, i am in /etc/yum.smerepos.d/ and when i attempt to edit
sme.base.repo, i get a severe warning about a swap file...let me try to
understand this, but in the meantime, anybody see something am missing?
