Hello Godfrey, Atop what has been suggested, try... - Stopping Squid (proxying), & monitor without it, as your config might be playing "dirty" - Is your server hardware "overwhelmed" with requests? HDD read / write speed for squid, NICs, etc
Out of curiosity.. Why did you create another network with the router? It could act as a switch for the WiFi users. Good luck.
