Hi guys, someone asked me if in Uganda there's any company that has the bandwidth+power-backup resources to handle co-location and i was unable to answer with confidence.
The usage scenario is 1) find a co-location company: (could be an ISP or hosting company or a well-funded/resourced [N]GO) 2) drop off your server 3) maintain the server yourself, while enjoying their hi-speed internet & automatic generator. simplifying assumption: A) hosting in uganda (vs the US/Europe) may result in faster speeds for Ugandan surfers B) the UIXP will come into play - benefiting all (Ugandans) involved. Do you have any ideas about this? How much would it cost? Is the speed-improvement big enough to be worth the costs and the effort? Regards, Richard
