:)This is really good to hear, and with your input and the community input
LUG could also boast of such projects: The whole point in this would be
how to use IT to add value to the existing services and products
regardless of how we feel like someone mentioned here. The ideas below
were posted by members, maybe we could revive them or even generate more:

Brian proposed setting up something like a University Auditing Framework
(how far)...
Someone talked of an IP based PBX, promised would get back with details...
Vass had set up a monthly ISP comparison survey or something (its now some
time......)
Someone talked of having done a traffic monitoring system at undergraduate
level....
Benjamin, you started the open source LAN idea....... :)
