Good.

Discussion, however, is always a positive thing! How else would anyone get
anywhere in life?

I know there are a lot of OT threads, and I'm not saying all OT threads are
bad. But there is a difference between discussing things not pertaining to
Linux and discussing things pertaining to Linux *in a negative way.* I
would imagine a football fan club mailing list wouldn't mind a little truly
off-topic discussion, but that they would mind discussions about the
promotion of a rivaling team. The same ought to ring true for a LUG mailing
list, right? Promoting Mac usage is *damaging to Linux*, and that's what I
was opposing, not the OT by itself.
