you want to learn from; Ubuntu, Redhat, SuSE, Debian, take your pick, they
are many.

Understand the basics in *NIX systems, files and file system, this would be
a good start

You said you wanted to learn and learn fast... the more you read and get
hands on the faster you learn... read that, install your favourite
distribution... post here if you have a problem. That is how you can learn
