Hi, A partner NGO of ours has deployed a good number of Android devices very far from Kampala.
They are running into maintenance issues, where users install apps, change settings and basically run their devices useless. Are there any Android tools that people have experience with that can help them lock devices, deploy updates and basically do some remote management and monitoring of their devices? (For example, we discussed Prey a few weeks back, which can help them track stolen devices.) -- rgds, Reinier Battenberg Director Mountbatten Ltd. www.mountbatten.net tel: +256 758 801749 twitter: @batje _______________________________________________ The Uganda Linux User Group: http://linux.or.ug Send messages to this mailing list by addressing e-mails to: [email protected] Mailing list archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Mailing list settings: http://kym.net/mailman/listinfo/lug To unsubscribe: http://kym.net/mailman/options/lug The Uganda LUG mailing list is generously hosted by INFOCOM: http://www.infocom.co.ug/ The above comments and data are owned by whoever posted them (including attachments if any).
