Jake, Elop for starters is an Ex-Microsoft Exec and based on this had/has a bias towards Microphone mobile operating system. The CEO dragged Nokia onto MS's struggling platform in 2011 on the ground that " that it would be too difficult for it to stand out from the crowd using Google’s OS." and has since paid a hefty price for that decision.
If Elop is still "waiting to see if the Windows 8 ecosystem is anything like the Apple Ecosystem.", am afraid, time is running out!
