Hello, If there's a slot for an extra presentation, count me in. I will show how to "Make maps with Open Data".
One thing I do not see mention of, is a Date and Time (important specifics I guess) . I hope this time round we'll have solid communication loops, just in case the event is called off. (well i found no one at the last 4th, March meeting(International University of East Africa) and the host/organizer did not have the courtesy to let us know it was called off ) regards, Ketty Adoch Mobile: 0712-200-738 Tweet @kadoch On Wed, Aug 21, 2013 at 3:38 PM, Reinier Battenberg < [email protected]> wrote: > ** > > > > There are plenty of locations all over town where you can hold a meeting. > > There are plenty of people who want to buy a coke. > > > > The recipe is quite simple: > > > > - Contact a venue of choice, and plan a date with them > > - Contact anyone you think can do a talk (via the list, or not) and make > sure they are available on the same day as the date you booked the venue > (yeah) > > - Send an invite to the list > > > > That's it. > > > > I believe Ketty Adoch showed up for one of the previous meetings to give a > talk, only to find out the meeting did not happen.
