Set Zentyal as the homepage in Firefox, rename Firefox shortcut to Zentyal,
tell them to run Zentyal.

I am not even going to ask how you got a user used to IE in the first place.

You could switch them to chrome which looks a lot like IE these days (the
other way round actually)

Jemba,

I would take the stronger line - tell the user that he/she needs to have
Firefox or Chrome on their machine.

IT people are too wimpy in East Africa. The culture is already changing in
the States where IT people are more assertive about what's right and what's
wrong and that's a good thing. Don't be rude, just be firm with your
professional opinion (I'm presuming you consider yourself a professional).

With that said, good sites don't push people off of IE. That's basically
rude and unnecessary (and often doesn't even work properly). Sites that
don't work well on IE should simply not work well.

Well, to be fair, lots of people use open source in mixed environments for a

Jemba, this is a good opportunity to encourage these users to switch to
Firefox. Tell them that they must use Firefox to access the User Corner and
that they simply won't be able to access it from IE. Be sure to also tell
them about the other benefits of using Firefox vs. IE (e.g. security,
stability, add-on's).

How did you get IE running on Linux in the first place? I presume you're
talking about Linux computers, since this is a Linux user group, and asking
how to promote IE usage in general (and on Windows in particular) would be
not only off topic, but *anti*-topic.

Guys,

I have computer users much comfortable with IE and wouldn't want to change
browser to Firefox yet they have to access the Zentyal User Corner. The snag
Is :

Warning: Caps Lock is enabled

Warning: Unfortunately Internet Explorer is not yet supported on Zentyal.
Please use <http://getfirefox.com/> Firefox instead.

How can I make IE work?

Thanks
