Our financial sponsor, Hermes Softlab, agreed that it will pay you
both trips - to Slovenia and to Italy - if that's the way you can
make it to the Friday one-hour technology speech in their auditorium.
(As with the main speech in Smelt, the entrance to this shorter event
will be free and anyone could come listen to you.)
So if you agree, we will reserve and pay for the following flights
with Alitalia:
departure arrival class flight #
Turin -> Rome 13 Oct 07:05 08:15 Economy AZ1412
Rome -> Triste 13 Oct 09:15 10:25 Economy AZ1357
departure arrival class flight #
Trieste -> Milano 19 Oct 18:05 19:15 Economy AZ1342
We'll also send someone to pick you in Trieste and drive you by car
to Ljubljana (and to Trieste when you'll have to go).

OK, the batteries will be safe. BTW, we have the same electricity
(230 V) as in Milan.

We will start calling the system "GNU/Linux" and its users "GNU/Linux
users". But we cannot change the official name of our group - the
statute doesn't even give the managing committee this authorization.
The best we can promise is to schedule the renaming of the Linux
User Group Of Slovenia on the agenda of the next annual assembly
of LUGOS that will take place in Spring 2001. It is also up to
your speech to convince the LUGOS members to vote for the renaming.
