Note we did nothing to optimize encryption performance so far.
I would also like to attempt to see if Lustre can come anywhere close to
the 10 gigabits per second of disk read I can get to a single client
with PVFS over infiniband *, but I'm not going to bother if I have to wait
6 months for the code to show up.
