Very glad to hear this.  I eagerly anticipate hearing more about your
experience.

We are an Ubuntu amd64 shop, and I am in the process of doing a
deployment using SuSE based kernels, but would eventually like to be
able to use very recent vanilla, or even Ubuntu based kernels.
