We already solved that, had to use part of the sysctl patch from 1.6.0.1, 
though its still not the final solution (as is also wasn't for 1.6.0.1).

I won't upload a lustre release which I havn't carefully tested yet. If you 
want to have an experimental release you might want to check out debian svn.

PS: Unfortunately I don't know where I could install a mercurial repository. I 
also don't want to ask the present admins of my previous group (they are 
already far too busy with system adminstration keeping them away of doing 
science and writing their Ph.D. thesis - the same as it did when I was 
there).
