That script is no longer shipped for 1.6.x releases as it's not needed. All one needs to do to start lustre on a 1.6 server is mount the device. Heartbeat has a built-in mechanism to support mounting devices on failover. See http://manual.lustre.org/manual/LustreManual16_HTML/DynamicHTML-08-1.htmlfor more details.
