Hi Arto,

it sounds quite well to my ears the way it is notated (with a-e). 

G-e would have been notated as a Tabulature a on the 6th course. The
system, Attaingnant used was based on 5 courses (only 5 lines for the
tab and the 6th course notated underneath). This would be the only
occurance of a seventh course in Attaingnant's works.
