Dear Arto, I agree. Daniel Heartz often seems to keep things in his edition as they were in the original, where other editors might have changed things. Even though one might sometimes disagree with some of his editorial decisions, one can rely on him to reproduce accurately what was in the original.
Having a tablature letter on the wrong line is one of the commonest mistakes. I have compared the lute solo with the 4-part dance version, and the 4-part version confirms your c6.
