Dear lutenists, I am a little confused because of the "general" modern music bashing in the List. I think we should be open minded also to to modern music. Then it is perhaps also easier to invite others listen to our own music
One very beautiful example of Cage on lute is played by Peter Sderberg (archlute) and Leif Henriksson (bass viol): Dream (1948) The CD has also music by Stockhausen, Ingvar Karkoff and Steve Reich. Players are Peter Sderberg and Sven berg, instruments are theorbo, archlute, 8 and 6 course renaissance lutes. The CD is "Contemporary lute", CIS 0035749. I warmly recommend! Very good music and well played! I cannot help, how to get the CD, but I think Peter was reading this list at least some years ago? Arto
