Dear All, Grateful thanks for the many helpful replies I have had. I've phoned up my luthier, and he suggested I bring the instrument along for him to have another look at. It's only about 3/4 of an hour in the car, the weather is nice, the place where is lives is lovely, and it'll make a very pleasant day out. Once again, may thanks to all
