Sorry gentlemen, you are both wrong. Logically the ricercar must fall between consistant categories. It must between a Rolls and a Bentley, or between a rickshaw and a honey wagon. As to reality, the Cadillac has to be compared with the Lincoln - and the Ding-a-ling with the Kia. But our messages have already confirmed the concept of repetition, so should we go further?. I am an expert in ricercar, or at least so my lady tells me. I can repeat myself from morn 'til night with different words, yet the same theme.
