I use this type of thing as a one-time reminder, not as an everyday brace.  
Sorry that the message could be otherwise construed, and basically agree 
with you.

I read that world #1 golfer Vijay Sighn (excuse spelling) sometimes
practices with a glove tucked between left arm and body, to remind himself
to keep the arm close.
