And there's no assurance that list operator wouldn't be subject to liability under some law somewhere in the world for facilitating libel. If I were Wayne (and it's a good thing I'm not, since he would then have to be someone else) I would get nervous when someone on my list calls someone else a lying, drunken fraud, and would want to show that I took steps to prevent a recurrence.
