yep. Early music has compleely changed my approach toward classical music. Vividly remember a weekend with Stephen Stubbs (the One) on meantone and German tablature in 1981. Back at home, I tried to relax by listening to my then favourite, van Beethoven's 5th Symphony (name of conductor not known any more). It was like hell's gates broken, I couldn't stand it. Meanwhile, I've come to terms with it (both B's 5th and the general phenomenon), though, I sometimes even return to the guitar for a short while >:) All the best, Mathias -- To get on or off this list see list information at http://www.cs.dartmouth.edu/~wbc/lute-admin/index.html
