A few people have wondered about my figures for recording. Recording studios
- good ones - are very expensive in the UK. The price included vat at 17.5
per cent. Of course, it is easier to do it cheaper...and it will sound it.
That includes two days recording, two days mastering, and travel,
accommodation, food - it all adds up! If you are recording in a quiet place
- that usually means an out of the way place - you not only have to pay for
your own accommodation and travel, but the sound engineer as well (never
mind a producer - I can do that myself), and their food!

This is one of the reasons I just recorded mp3 files for the website - cost
me almost nothing. Might return to that.
