So, it was as I thought: You could not give _any_ quote of Artusi writing 
about CM tuning in ET. That "whole series" talks much about much - a 
traditionalist raging against modernists - as it has allways been - but
can you give _any_ quote Artusi  talking about ET?  Non - mean tone is of 
course possible, but that is certainly not the same as ET!
