And then, if we forget for a while your claims about Monteverdi using ET, could you repeat the words Frescobaldi used when he "petitioned" something for the Vatican organ? And it would really be interesting to be able to read the "Standard Scholarship" statement on this matter! And who is the scholar, who claims GF using ET? I do know that for example Stravinsky believed they longed for - and even used - ET already in the 16th century, but I really do not consider IS having been a scholar...
