I have liked much of Goebel's output.  As violinist, I was particularly 
fond of his performance of Bach's accompanied sonatas (1985. Archiv, 427 
152-2), especially BWV 1023.  This latest comment seems like shallow, 
impromptu gripery without too much thought.
