Yes but in my case, the accent is more heavilly on the need to learn,  
I would guess.
Oh, well, no, you are quite right, there is no limit to what we can  
learn, there may be a beginning, but no end, while we can keep on going.
Let me just say that I am not so far from the beginning.

Yes, I think that may be the way to go. There is much less artifice.  
I think the best distance might well change with the size and shape  
of the room.
When the mikes are separate from the recorder, you can record from a  
greater distance with slightly more gain, without the fear of picking- 
up hum, etc, from the recorder itself.

Good luck with that, I must admit that I try to find someone else to  
do it, and then I complain when there are mistakes.
