The nice thing about the Korg Orchestral the custom response curve--it works well on lute in "medium" setting and you can tune even in a wind tunnel with the clip mic. I have used it even with full orchestra going on in the background in between opera acts. It will also register a low E through the mic should you require the lowest theorbo note at 392.
As far as accuracy goes, the response curve is much more important than the accuracy rating. This makes the current model more accurate than the MT1200, which had a smaller drift. The Korg has 3 response curves. Tried the software tuners, not impressed, although the Strobe built into Sequoia ($3000) works well winds/organ and tells the pitch in Hz and cents simultaneously. The 370 setting is handy for concerts of French music at super low pitch I would buy the best tuner regardless of price, and the Korg Orchestral has worked the best so far.
