Dear  Stephen,

Thanks for the photos, I've never seen anything like this before! It's
impressive to see how unequal the frets are placed, I imagine it's because
of the 4th comma meantone.
Recently I played on a vihuela with this fret placement (without the
tastini) and sounded very nice, however a bit difficult to understand the
left hand...
