Between the modern recordings (thank you Jacob and Ronn) and face book therre are too many irrelelvant hits for google to be easily used on this, not as bad as when I was getting false hits on chevas regal (made at Blair Athol) when searching for information on the Regals instrument once stored at Blair Athol... I did find this tidbit - Jane Pickering lute book. signed 1616 lute pieces by various composers notated by Jane Pickering ms British Museum London, Egerton 204 Facsimile? why would a facs. go on the net? Surely the original if anything. I would think not, being a manuscript, not of interest to the EEBO project possible the British museum will get around to it and other Ms once done with their part of the EEBO project. Perhaps a visit to the UK is in your future Arto? -- Dana Emery To get on or off this list see list information at http://www.cs.dartmouth.edu/~wbc/lute-admin/index.html
