No, the neck profile on it was definitely of much older origin.

They are as authentic as those of any other Lautenguitarre or the like, not to say that dreary varnish on the back that has nothing to do with Joh. Christian Hoffmann whatsoever!

I just wish somebody would buy it as firewood so that it will eventually perish from the net ... but then you might just as well burn your money :)
