Dear all,
do gut strings deteriorate in storage?
I have some that are around 5 years old. Will I get a wrong impression
of guts when I use them?

Gut strings must have been fantastic. Isn't it a pity none survived so
that no one will never know how they actually sounded? Lucky we have these
nice synthetics...
