There's a very good study on the repertory for lute ensemble from 1507-1601,
written by Christophe Dupraz in French (around 650 pages of text and the whole
repertory transcribed...). I made a PDF of this work because there are only a
few existing books and the computer setup on which the work was done is no
longer available. So this PDF is the only available source. I gave the master
files to Christophe Dupraz and he's the only man who can give authorized copies
of it.
People who are interested on this work could send me a mail and I will forward
them to Christophe Dupraz. I think he's not amused when I give here his private
mail address... but this way could work.
