Dowland did not write "Wilson's (Wolsey's) WIlde." It's a pop tune and
you can find it in several places including the Fitzwilliam Virginal
Book. There is a lute transcription of the FVB version on my web site
[1]www.groundsanddivisions.info
It started as a transcription by Ronn McFarlane, which was published in
the LSA's Quarterly and I changed some things.
The Folger "Dowland" Manuscript has Dowland in it's name because he
signed several of his pieces in it, not because it was all written by
him, or even owned by him. If you have not seen this manuscript the
Lute Society (England) sells a very nice, economical facsimile of it.

Oh sure. Now that you say it, I remember. Thanks.
Did Dowland write it, or just recorded in his ms?

This version is most likely from the Folger Dowland ms.
