On the contrary, this was what I was taught by a very down to earth,
hands-on approach, seeing is believing kind of man, in my very down to
earth, Dutch conservatory where I studied guitar. Good, solid advice.
There is much more to add to this, by the way. My short paragraph is
just a small part of a whole approach to studying technique in an
efficient way. 'The technique of studying is more important than the
studying of technique'. Such kind of thing.

The zen part might be me, selling it the way I do. ;-)
