I can't wait to try this. This looks like it could get another cm or so out of a string. The strings are overexposed in the photo but I guess you just put the two ends together and lay a bead of super glue along the common boarder???
Recently, I used superglue on a gut string that was fraying. Got me through the gig just fine. I used the barrel/blood knot many times and found it was the one knot that would not break the string. Can work with different thicknesses too.
