I thought Herbert was referring more to the culture, but perhaps he
   could clarify.

   The Taliband are pretty far back there but I don't think they like
   music.

   I had a deep sense of going back in time when I traveled in India and
   Nepal 30 years ago, but it was not to the Renaissance.
