Yours are great too, Rob. I like Edward Weston's views on a good photograph, which I think is particularly apposite for both yours and Arto's: "not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual"
I don't know if you plan to visit Dundee in the near future, but there's a wonderful series of photos by Frank Proctor on display in the Parrot Cafe just now - all taken on an old Canon IXUS (only 2.1 Megapixels). I was so impressed I looked on eBay and put in a bid for one - I won it for 99 pence! Another quote, from Edward Steichen this time, which I keep in mind when I'm ogling goodies in Jessops - "No photographer is as good as the simplest camera". And while we are at it, here are some of mine: [1][1]https://picasaweb.google.com/117536826456517121171/Landscapes1 Made the mistake of looking in a photography shop yesterday. One could easily spend the price of a theorbo on a camera. And the lenses are extra! Rob -- References 1.
