Hi Nigel,

A few years ago I built an 11course lute (with minor modifications) to
the plans from the lute society.

I used the plans and followed the procedures outlined in David Van
Edwards excellent CD course for building a 14 course Lute.

The 11c plan is very easy to work from but being the amateur that I am
David Van Edwards course is what made it possible.

If you have any other questions email me.

The resulting 11c lute is very playable and I am very happy with it.

I wonder just how clear they would be for an amateur maker like myself
