Karen Meyers and Russell Ferrara played lute duets in South Street (Philadelphia) cafes in the early 1990s. West Chester U Collegium Musicum used to perform regularly, often for the public or fund raiser madrigal dinners on campus and off, until 2005 or thereabouts. And of course, there's Pastimes Music, renowned for piping on the beech in Cape Cod, sunset 31 December chilly tradition, and for playing 'at' Jordan Hall (as in on the street outside) entertaining the people waiting for the Sat late night concert at BEMF, a somewhat warmer tradition.
