I may have been a bit premature...the installed drive is an IDE.
MSY only have SATA SSDs in their price list, and a quick snoop about  
suggests the IDE SSDs that are available are much more expensive.
On price alone it may not be worth it, and I have yet to find info that  
will tell the story on the performance.
